Dog-walking and entrepreneurship: both require patience and mindfulness, attention to detail, and the ability to make a route and adjust it as needed. It’s a bonus that in our industry, our customers are always ecstatic to see us.
During our journey through incorporation, we’ve put into practice the skills we learned at an intense training seminar at the Toronto Centre for Canine Education, which in addition to reviewing dog training techniques (positive reinforcement all the way!) and Pet First Aid encourages commercial dog-walkers to refine their business chops to succeed in the big world of pet care.
No business development comes without funding. Futurpreneur, a non-profit that loans money to young(ish) entrepreneurs, backed us in taking our Toronto dog-walking company to the next level.
Pablo said no one had ever asked to take his picture in front of the logo before.
As part of our online branding, we borrowed a few of our clients’ dogs and did a photo shoot to capture some of the special moments we share with dogs while out on walks – and how much fun they have when they’re outside, stretching their legs and getting to know other humans and dogs.
Dr. Jay is that mound of blond fluff that you see in the above picture; he is a great model but also just really wants to roll around and play most of the time.
Equipped with a new website, easy online booking, and walk tracker system – we’re excited to be expanding the Walk My Dog Toronto community, and look forward to seeing those ecstatic faces when we arrive at the door each day.
Walk My Dog Toronto offers dog-walking services in downtown Toronto. With easy online booking, we walk your dog while you are busy or at work. We give your dog love, socialization, and exercise, and we keep in touch with you every step of the way with our walk tracker.
